1915 – Utility created by order of the Village Board
1927 – Community votes in spring election to create water and sewer utility
1928 – Main Street water tower placed into service (still in operation today)
1971 – Joined the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District for wastewater treatment purposes
1981 – Joined WPPI Energy for power supply needs. Initial contract signed for 35 years
2002 – 35-year contract extension signed with WPPI Energy, through 2037
2002 – 500,000 gallon Business Park water tower placed into service
2015 – Centennial celebration
2016 – Extended WPPI contract to 2055
